Flex-It 90 is a semi-rigid urethane casting resin designed for casting abrasion resistant molds, seals, gaskets, models, prototypes, parts, rollers, etc.. It is semi-rigid in mass castings and flexible in thin cross-sections. FLEX-IT 90 has excellent abrasion resistance, tear strength, tensile strength, and has good chemical resistance.

I love the fact that is a flexible resin. The shrinkage was way to much. The part fit perfectly for about 1 month, then it started to shrink. 76.99 to 74.74mm, massive. 10 parts, wasted. I have to go back to Flex80
I've used this for several projects for prototyping parts in the mining industry, the higher strength is required and it's important to plan for the short pot life. Set a time, mix for 1 minute or until it starts to get warm and then start pouring your parts. Great product but make sure you are aware of the pot life, no time to de-gas it, just mix and go. bubbles are a minimum anyways.
I have used this product for quite a few years. I mold and cast small parts for action figures and this is the closest product out there that matches the factory plastic in elasticity with no breakage. When properly cured you can pull parts with thin small protrusions without breakage and after the cure process it does not become brittle after time.
The product works well with our process
Product works well, mixes easily & dries fast but I wish I paid more attention to how fast it dries before I bought it. I was so caught up on its wear resistance I did not realize the stuff would be practically impossible to mix, pour & get inside a vacuum chamber before it was already too hard to degas. Definitely says this on the spec sheet but it seems a bit extreme compared to many alternatives. That said, this same quality makes it ideal for other applications or in settings where someone can just mix this in a vacuum w a robot or from inside the comfort of their very own space suit.
